EVIDENCE OF CHU CHUNG LING FRUIT STALL FOKI AFFIRMED.

My name is Chu Chung Ling and I am a fruit stali

foki. I was at my stall on board the "Kwong Tung" at

the time of the fire. My stall was near the bathroom

on the port side of the main deck. I was standing by my

stall and I saw smoke coming from the opposite side. I

walked over to look and saw white smoke. There was a

panic. I saw fire extinguishers being used. I tried to

calm thexanix people. We extinguished the fire but later

another fire broke out on which we also used extinguishers.

Hose pipes were not in use before the extinguishers. There

were passage ways between the passengers' baggage. There

was a small flame and plenty of smoke.

The foregoing is a true record

of the evidence I have given.
